When you create an account, we collect your first and last name, email address, country, preferred language and newsletter preference. For orders and subscriptions, we may also process selected products, quantities, amounts, delivery information, order history and customer balance.
Data is used to create and secure your account, verify your email, answer requests, prepare and track orders, manage subscriptions and automatic selections, send requested communications and prevent abuse.
PayPal payments are processed by PayPal. Algeria Philately does not store your full bank-card number. Information needed to track payments and orders may be retained.
The site uses LWS hosting, SMTP email delivery and Google reCAPTCHA to protect forms. Trustpilot links and sharing buttons may take you to external services governed by their own policies.
Technical cookies and sessions are used for sign-in, language and cart functions. The cart is stored in your browser’s local storage. The site also counts visited pages and recently connected visitors to operate the service and measure its audience.
Data is retained for as long as needed to manage accounts, orders, administrative obligations and possible disputes. Reasonable safeguards include HTTPS encryption, password hashing and temporary tokens for email verification and password resets.
